The East Coast Greenway Association calls this the “week-a-year” ride because few of us are able to ride the entire route in one stretch. The 2014 ride is the fourth installment (last year’s ride went from Hartford, Conn. through New York City to Philadelphia.)
It’s my first one! I’m excited!
We start in Philadelphia. Here’s where we’ll be each night:
Oct. 5: Wilmington, Delaware. What did I see on Day 1? Here’s the report.

Oct. 10: Quantico, Virginia. The ride report.
And on Oct. 11, we finish the ride in Fredericksburg, Virginia and head home. The final report.
